Recruitment ——China Association for NGO cooperation


Background
China Association for NGO cooperation(CANGO) was founded on July 22nd,1992. It is a non-profit membership organization operating nationwide. To strengthen exchanges and cooperation with non-governmental organizations, enterprises, governments and enthusiastic public welfare personnel in social development, poverty alleviation, technical support services and consulting, coordination and development of social construction is CANGO’s mission.In 2007, CANGO gained NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. In 2010, CANGO was honored the title of National Advanced Social Organization by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2016,CANGO was evaluated as 4A level in national non-profit organizations by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CANGO gained the qualification of pre-tax deduction for donations by the Ministry of Finance and Stated Administration of Taxation. CANGO gained the qualification of tax exemption by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Tax and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Local Tax.
The recruitment details are as follows:
 
I. Basic conditions for candidates
(1) Nationality of the People's Republic of China.
(2) Abide by the Constitution and laws, have good morals, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
(3) Having the professionalism, skills, and physical conditions required for the job.
(4) Having a sense of confidentiality, teamwork, hard work.
(5) Proficient in computer operation.
(6) Other conditions required for the position.
(7) Cannot apply for employment under any of the following circumstances:
1. Having received criminal punishment or been expelled from government;
2. Being under review on file;
 
Duties and requirements
(1) Assistant Secretary-General 1 (in charge of business department)
Major job responsibilities:
1. Assist the Secretary-General in her work and participate in the organization's strategic planning and internal governance;
2. Assist the Secretary-General in formulating the organization's annual project fund-raising plan and developing fund-raising channels;
3. Coordinate the implement of project plan;
4. Team management and capacity building of business departments;
5. Coordinate key partners and donor agencies;
6. Check of relevant documents;
7. Others.
 
Application requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, TEM-8.
2. More than eight years of project financing and management experiences, and more than three years of management experience in the department;
3. Experience in NGO, familiar with knowledge of policies and regulations related to social organizations, and management knowledge of institutions;
4. Have an overall consciousness, dare to take responsibility, have strong risk control ability, communication and coordination ability;
5. Have good implementation capabilities.
6. With the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time under heavy tasks;


(2) Assistant Secretary-General 2 (in charge of Finance Department and Public Relations Department)
Major job responsibilities:
1. Assist the Secretary-General in her work and participate in the organization's strategic planning and internal governance;
2. Comprehensively manage all matters of the Public Relations Department and the Finance Department;
3. Responsible for financial approval and review;
4. Responsible for various financial audits and submit annual financial reports to the council;
5. Coordinate consultation on financial issues;
6.Provide analysis of related financial data such as management cost and expense;
7. Annual inspection report of the agency;
8. Responsible for the establishment of human resources management framework structure, performance evaluation, and revision of institutional management system.
9. Organizational communication and office operations.
 
Application requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in accounting, more than ten years of financial management experience.
2. Familiar with civil and non-accounting systems.
3. Be responsible and have strong communication and coordination skills.
4. Have NGO experience.
 
 (3) Project Manager
Major job responsibilities:
1. Assist department head in project fundraising and develop project partners;
2. Under the guidance of the department leader, complete the annual plan and budget ;
3. Responsible for the entire process of project execution, including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and propose a control plan for the risks that may occur in the project;
4. Responsible for writing project progress reports and financial reports, and submit them on time ;
5. Responsible for project financial management, including fund request, budget control, project audit, etc .;
6. Maintain the project partnership, such as the coordination and communication of project partners, experts and member institutions;
7. Do a good job of project communication;   
8. Complete other work related to the project or institution.
 
Application requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, more than three years of NGO work experience.
2. CET- 6 or above, with excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
3. Have strong report writing ability, organizational coordination ability and social activity ability.
4. Be responsible and patient.
5. Able to adapt to international and domestic business trips.

 (4) Project Assistant
Major job responsibilities:
1. Assist the project manager in preparing the application
2. Assist the project manager in carrying out project activities, including the event plans, organization, and follow-up.
3. Assist the project manager to write the project progress report and financial report;
4. Responsible for part of the project financial management, including project activity borrowing and reimbursement, project partner funding, receipt of invoices, etc .;
5. Assist the project manager to maintain the project partnership;
6. Assist the project manager in the project communication work;
7. Complete other work related to the project.
 
Application requirements:
1. Bachelor  degree or above, more than one year working experience.
2. CET- 6 or above, proficient in English.
3. Have strong writing ability, organization and coordination ability and social activity ability.
4. Be responsible and patient.
5. Able to adapt to international and domestic business trips.

(5) Administrative Assistant (Reception)
Major job responsibilities:
1. Answer phone calls and receive visits;
2. Send and receive documents and transfer;
3. Responsible for meeting summary;
4. General document drafting and document management;
5. Conference room arrangement and management;
6. Asset inventory and management;
7. Other matters of assistance;
 
Application requirements:
1. College degree or above;
2. Have a basic knowledge of English;
3. Age 26 and under.
