Two pilot test runs of teaching courses were organized under the Climate Change Education for Middle Schools Project

Two pilot test run of teaching courses were organized in Shijiazhuang city, Hebei Province and Beijing separately on 15th and 18th August. The pilot test run  in Shijiazhuang took place in No.27 Middle School and more than 30 teachers participated in the course, which was instructed and lectured by Ms. Li Li, Director of Beijing EnviroFriends Institute of Environmental Science and Technology. The course covered knowledge of global warming, energy classifications, and low carbon lifestyles by using interactive form of activities to motivate the participation of attendees. In Beijing, the test run  targeted 15 teachers from Middle and Primary schools in Beijing area, they actively joined the course and discussed the ways how to integrate  climate change knowledge into ordinary teaching courses with students.
 
The pilot test run of teaching courses were organized by CANGO partnering Hebei  Environment Protection Federation and Beijing EnvironFriends Institute of Environmental Science and Technology to test the teaching methods and teaching materials. The test run of teaching courses concluded with feedback from participating teachers including adding more knowledge sharing sections and diversify the teaching tools, especially using multimedia and digital materials.
